Alan Fedit

Alan Fedit is a French downwind and wing foiler who stood on the podium at the first sanctioned parawing World Cup: 3rd in the men’s division at the SFT Downwind Parawing World Cup in Leucate, France (Mondial du Vent, April 22–26, 2026), behind Tom Pansard and Bastien Escofet. As of mid-2026 he sits 6th in the overall men’s ranking of the inaugural SFT Downwind Parawing World Cup season.

What we know

Fedit went into Leucate as a named headline starter (the Côte du Midi tourism office listed him alongside Escofet, Benjamin May, Balz Müller and Pansard in its pre-event coverage) and came out 3rd of a 30-man field at the discipline’s first sanctioned World Cup stage. Leucate ran a hybrid downwind race mixing upwind, crosswind and downwind legs, judged on speed, efficiency, control and wing management, with the trademark full-speed beach finish on the sand.

Before parawing he was already a well-known downwind and wing foiler, with a Sunova association in his background (more on that below). Nothing unusual there. Almost the entire parawing racing elite comes out of established French wing and downwind foil racing, and Fedit fits the pattern exactly.

What’s not documented

Short profile, on purpose. The published record on Fedit is thin and padding it wouldn’t help you. Still missing: his age, home spot, parawing brand and sizes, board and foil setup, his result (if any) at the Cabarete stage, and any direct quotes. No interview with him has surfaced in the parawing media we track (LabRat Foiler, Foil Life, Up On Foil). The Sunova link is an association we’ve seen referenced, not a confirmed current sponsorship with a source URL.

What is solid: 3rd at Leucate 2026, and 6th in the 2026 overall men’s SFT Downwind Parawing ranking as of the mid-season standings. Rankings move after every stage, so expect that number to change after Lake Garda. When Fedit’s setup surfaces, or he gives an interview we can attribute, this profile gets longer.
