The formula — and where it comes from

size = base(wind) × (weight / 80 kg) × discipline × learning + skin, snapped to the common size ladder.

Sources: community sizing consensus compiled in our brand research from Seabreeze and Progression Project threads; The Inertia's parawing test rankings; MACkite's on-water test of a 2.5 m² at 90 kg (usable 22–30+ kn); manufacturer baselines (Ozone rates at 80 kg, F-One and Flysurfer at 75 kg — BRM publishes no ranges at all). Manufacturer top ends are treated as optimistic by 3–5 kn throughout.
