At the SFT Downwind Parawing World Cup in Leucate, France (Mondial du Vent, April 22–26, 2026), the inaugural stage of the inaugural season, the young American Luca Vuillermet took Race 1 of the men’s fleet outright, then finished the event 5th overall behind winner Tom Pansard. Per the official protocol the stage ran men’s and women’s fleets only; Hugo Babilon (FRA) placed 7th in the same fleet.
